| PMIS | The Port Management Information System is designed to aid ports in planning, the movement of ships, assigning and utilisation of associated resources such as tugs and pilot services. All information is recorded in the database to allow the ports to examine data, extract information through queries and construct reports. The PMIS can also work interactively with the VTMIS5060 to provide automated recording of events and aid in the identification of vessels. |
